LoremFlickr is a service providing placeholder images of any size on virtually any subject. Images are all licensed under Creative Commons licenses and are sourced from Flickr. The title of the image and the owner are credited on each image.

In September 2019, I added a paid ‘pro’ tier, with more power.

Virtual death

In late 2024, Flickr started enforcing their API limits. It resulted in the death of hosted LoremFlickr. I updated the code, which can take into account API limits, but needs to be installed on a user’s server.
