OVCsupport.net

OVCsupport.net

I’m in Chiang Mai, working for HDN, on their final project before they fold in September this year. Through a USAID grant, managed by the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, I’m spending about six months in Thailand again, though I wouldn’t mind that being longer.

The website we’re working on, OVCsupport.net, aims to be the global hub on information in relation to orphans and vulnerable children (indeed, OVC).
Initially released in 2004, the website, very much old skool, is in dire need of an upgrade. So we’re integrating a series of web 2.0 tools as well as professionalizing the document library which is available through the old site.

The website will be presented at ICAAP, in Bali in August. We aim to go live in September this year.
