A series of investigate reports on the privatisation of public space, primarily in the region of Rio de Janeiro.
Today, the first set launches, on the privatisation of public beaches. This is followed up by series on the privatisation of public streets and the privatisation of ‘sky’, that is, the practice of ignoring height restrictions in construction.
The series is promoted by life-sized ‘lambe lambe’ posters, throughout Rio de Janeiro. The lambe lambe, which translates to ‘lick lick’, are 5 by 2 meter posters hung all over Rio.
