And after months of hard work, I present to you… HealthDev.net. In short, it’s a Digg clone for the TB and HIV/AIDS sector.

HealthDev.net was created, and is still in beta, hence under construction, to replace two existing platforms: TheCorrespondent.org and HealthDev.org (notice the subtle difference with the name of the new site). Both are in use to disseminate news, information, data on TB and HIV/AIDS and are operated by Health & Development Networks.

In fact, HealthDev.net is more a Plime clone than anything else. The major difference with Digg being that, practically, anyone can edit articles submitted by other registered individuals. Also, the site keeps track of users’ interests, through user votes, and has a rather extensive array of RSS feeds available.
