I had a feeling something was going on, before I went over to the Capital Bank website. And Lo and Behold, I found myself on the website's frontpage. Ain't that amazing, Mike?
Last year, in Mongolia, I struggled with another company, in Mongolia, before I got to work at Capital Bank. I helped them set up an internal communication system which allowed them to significantly cut down their paper requirements.
It all had to be done in a rush, since the supposed four months project time had almost been cut in half because of me being placed at a terribly incapable company at first.
So, although I had it on my list, I wasn't able to update the bank's website, as I had wanted to do.
I was able to create a working model, including management system, but didn't have the time anymore to fill it up with information from the old website and I had to leave some loose threads as well. So the website wasn't upgraded.
That is, it is now. And I even made it to the frontpage! Last year, I was there when they were shooting pictures for a company brochure. And being the only foreigner working at the bank, some of the pictures had to involve me. Now, one of those pictures made it to the frontpage.
Ain't life sweet!
Note (January 2009): The current website is not the design and system I created.
