Work, shmork! But, yes, one needs to make a living as well.

I'm a self employed web developer with extensive experience in 'the south', that is, the developing world. I strongly focus on social applications, or, 'web 2.0'. If you're intrigued, you can check out my CV.

My business is called Baba's projects.

Peaces, voorjaar 2010

Peaces, voorjaar 2010
The second installment of the PBI, Peace Brigades International Nederland, magazine Peaces. Now with another editor as compared to last time.

Countries covered: Indonesia, Guatemala, Colombia, Mexico and Nepal.

The next one can be expected to take a bit less time.

All but one of those working

OVCsupport.net

I'm in Chiang Mai, working for HDN, on their final project before they fold in September this year. Through a USAID grant, managed by the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, I'm spending about six months in Thailand again, though I wouldn't mind that being longer.

The website we're working on, OVCsupport.net (our beta is available on v2.OVCsupport.net) aims to be the global hub on information in relation to orphans and vulnerable children (indeed, OVC).
Initially released in 2004, the website, very much old skool,
