Pilanesberg is one South Africa's national parks and considered by some to be better than Krugerpark. Here, you can actually see the big five and since it's smaller than Krugerpark, your chances of seeing them might actually be a bit better.

This panorama picture was taken from inside a hide, a secluded hut close to popular area (for the wild animals of the park). The lake is Mankwe lake and the tiny specs in the picture include warthog, hippo, wildebeest, giraffe, springbok and several different species of birds.
